Idaho Man Sentenced for Molesting Girls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 53-year-old Idaho Falls man has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for molesting three girls. The Post-Register reports District Judge Dan Watkins Jr. sentenced Jeffrey Dunn yesterday. Dunn was found guilty in November of three counts of lewd conduct with a minor younger than age 16. He has a 15-year sentence enhancement for being a repeat offender. Bonneville County Deputy Prosecutor Daniel Clark says Dunn was a father figure to the girls, who were molested between 2004 and 2011, when they were between the ages of 6 and 14. Dunn was arrested in November 2012. He was required to register as a sex offender after a 1996 conviction for lewd conduct with a minor younger than 16.
