COLFAX, Wash. (AP) — Prosecutors in Whitman County, Washington, have decided not to pursue eluding charges against the man accused of killing three people during a shooting rampage in Moscow, Idaho.

That means 29-year-old John Lee will be now be extradited to Latah County, Idaho, to face murder charges.

KREM-TV in Spokane says Whitman County Prosecutor Denis Tracy filed a motion on Monday to dismiss eluding charges against Lee.

Lee is charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder for the January 10 shooting rampage. He later allegedly led Pullman police on a car chase on Highway 195 following the shootings in Moscow.

Lee was scheduled to stand trial in Colfax for the eluding case in May.
