Idaho Power Traveling Exhibit Comes to Twin Falls
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – A traveling exhibit from Idaho Power will begin its statewide tour in Twin Falls. The exhibit – showcasing artifacts, stories, photos and interactive displays – will open at the Twin Falls Visitor Center on Wednesday, with a grand opening presentation scheduled the following week, from 5-7 p.m. March 8.
The display will highlight challenges the company faced and the work its employees did over its 100-year history in Idaho and Oregon.
“Those who came before us created a strong foundation on which we continue to build,” Idaho Power President and CEO Darrel Anderson said in a statement Tuesday. “To celebrate this legacy, the company is proudly recognizing employees and retirees, and sharing our rich history with our communities through traveling and online exhibits.”
The exhibit will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2 through May 8. In all, the exhibit will travel to six different locations throughout the state in 2016.
The first 100 visitors to attend the March 8 grand opening will receive a hard copy of the company’s centennial cookbook. For more information, visit the company’s centennial webpage.
