Plenty of snowfall at Idaho ski resorts over the past week has many anticipating a better season than last, when some resorts didn't open until January.  In fact most ski resorts are already open for the season.  Bogus Basin, in The Treasure Valley, is reporting three inches of new snow over the weekend. Right now, Bogus has a base depth of 12 inches.  Sun Valley  has been open for a couple weeks now. As of Sunday morning, Bald Mountain reported nearly two inches of fresh snow, with a base depth of 24 inches and a summit depth of 50 inches.  Brundage Mountain  had its  Opening day  Friday, and skiers and snowboarders were treated to plenty of fresh powder throughout the weekend. Tamarack Resort reports that conditions are "very good". The resort says they've received six inches of fresh snow in the last day and are expecting plenty more over the next couple days.  Pomerelle, south of Burley, reports 17 inches at the base and 29 inches at the top with many runs open now and more snow is on the way.
