Idaho State Trooper Involved in Shooting Near Montana State Line
MULLAN, Idaho (AP) — An Idaho State Police trooper has shot and killed a motorist along Interstate 90 at Lookout Pass, just west of the Idaho-Montana state line. The incident occurred about noon Wednesday.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the shooting, says the trooper was not injured. The Spokesman-Review reports that few details of the shooting are available. The person shot was taken to Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg and declared dead.
