IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — An eastern Idaho judge has sentenced a man to up to 10 years in prison for drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl, but says he may be eligible for release after completing a 90-day treatment program. The Post Register  reports 18-year-old Miguel Perez of St. Anthony was sentenced by District Judge Gregory Moeller to up to 10 years in prison on Tuesday. But the judge also retained jurisdiction, telling Perez that if he successfully completes an intensive treatment program in a minimum-security prison, that he may be able to serve the rest of his sentence on probation. Perez was charged with rape after the 13-year-old girl came home and appeared to be drugged and reported to police that she'd been raped.
