The tickle in your throat may be caused by heavy smoke.

The smoke is so thick people with respiratory issues are being reminded to stay indoors

The entire region is under the blanket as wildfires rage across Idaho and neighboring states.  This morning, a friend involved in government and politics in the Northern Panhandle shared some pictures from Labor Day.  Danielle Ahrens tells me today things aren’t any better and may even be worse.

The smoke is so thick people with respiratory issues are being reminded to stay indoors and even healthy folks are told to avoid some strenuous outdoor activity.  If you were out of bed early this morning, you would’ve seen what appeared to be an orange moon.  It had the hue because of the lens of the smoke.
