CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — Police say an Idaho woman is facing several charges after she was found passed out in a hot car with a baby inside.

The Idaho Statesman reports that Caldwell police say the 23-year-old Glenns Ferry woman was unconscious in a truck stop parking lot on Tuesday afternoon. Officers say the car engine was running, the windows were rolled up and a 14-month-old baby was red and sweating heavily in the backseat.

The outside temperature was about 95 degrees.

Police say the child was treated at a local hospital and later released to a relative.

Officers say the woman was charged with injury to a child, DUI and methamphetamine possession.
