Idaho’s Desperate Need for Road Repairs

No question road repair is going to dominate some conversations as a spring thaw approaches.  Idaho is already in need of tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars for road repairs.

This winter has given us plenty of evidence the time to get started is now.  There are several proposals being debated by legislators in Boise.  Meanwhile there has been talk about returning a surplus to taxpayers in the form of a tax cut.  The average amount would be quite small.  Twin Falls County Republican Party Chairman Steve Millington believes the money could be better spent on repairing highways.  Alignments and ball joint replacements cost much more than any tax break.  During Steve’s weekly appearance with us on Top Story he discussed the need for better roads.  And soon.
