BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho officials say the state-based health insurance marketplace had nearly 13,000 visitors just days after it opened for business.

Your Health Idaho Executive Director Pat Kelly isn't immediately releasing how many Idahoans signed up for coverage on the state exchange's website. However, he told reporters Monday yourhealthidaho.org hasn't experienced any of the technical glitches that plagued the federal marketplace last year since it launched Saturday. Last year, 76,000 Idaho residents enrolled within six months.

On average, Kelly says people spent 10 minutes on Idaho's exchange site. Along with the high web traffic, the exchange's four call centers received 700 calls over the weekend. The state's exchange website is part of the Affordable Care Act. Idaho is one of 12 other states to launch its own state-run version.
