Police in Lakewood, Colorado used pepper spray on an 8 year old boy who lost his temper in class and threatened teachers with a weapon he made by tearing the trim off the wall. His mother says the police treated him like a “common criminal” and they should have “talked him down.” This is the third time police had to be called because of this boy’s outbursts.

What do you think about how it was handled?
