Have the knuckle-heads at the NFL finally gotten the picture?

Several members of the San Francisco 49ers still took a knee during the national anthem at Sunday’s game

Veterans Day ceremonies at stadiums across the league mainly occurred without controversy, although.  Several members of the San Francisco 49ers still took a knee during the national anthem at Sunday’s game.

Depending on what media outlet I’m reading, a suggested boycott by fans enraged by player behavior fizzled.  Some stadiums had a lot of empty seats, but it may be more related to the poor product some clubs are putting on the field.

Meanwhile, at a college game Saturday (actual Veterans Day) in Delaware, a friend says members of one band took a knee during the anthem.  This on a field just a few miles away from Dover Air Force Base and the large military mortuary.  Somehow I think the band members may have not even considered their actions versus the special meaning of the day and personal sacrifice.
