A Jerome man has been arrested on drug charges involving a large amount of methamphetamine.  The Idaho State Police say 23 year old Edgar  Aguilar –Bautista was arrested Tuesday in the parking lot of Sportsman’s Warehouse after he allegedly sold nearly 115 grams of meth to a confidential informant for $5500 dollars.  The arrested followed two previous  purchases by the informant  which took place in Jerome, all under police supervision.  In total, about $9400 dollars were involved in the three purchases, some of that involving a previous drug debt.  Aguilar-Bautista is being held in the Twin Falls County Jail on a $250,000 dollar bond.  A preliminary hearing is set for September 9th.
