Jerome Council May Open with a Prayer

JEROME, Id ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Jerome City Council is looking into changing the way it opens meeting.

An ordinance was introduced Monday evening which would amend the city code to add a prayer to the order of business.

No action was taken, but the council will be discussing this issue in future meetings. The city council has also approved the tentative budget for the coming year with a public hearing scheduled for august 18th.
