JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) Jerome street crews worked through the night to keep main roads open as wind created problems on other streets. In a statement sent out by Mike Williams, Jerome city administrator, South Tiger Road experienced significant drifting in the eastern part of the city. Drivers are asked to avoid the area to allow snow plows to clear the road. People will see trucks on their streets throughout the day. Drivers are asked to use extreme caution because roads are slick. City hall is open for business to day.

Meanwhile, Jerome County has closed both the courthouse and judicial annex for the day. Crews were working at the airport to keep the runway clear early this morning according to Jerome County Commissioner Charles Howell.
