BOISE, Idaho (KTVB) -- Idaho State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash on I-84 and Broadway that injured a Nampa woman. Police say 26-year-old Zachary Hoekstra from Idaho Falls tried driving between Jose Ascencio Vera, 25 of Jerome, and Deborah Bowman, 31 of Nampa.

Vera was driving a Dodge pick-up pulling a trailer, and Bowman was in a Chevrolet HHR, when Hoekstra attempted to squeeze between the two of them. Police say Hoekstra hit Bowman initially, then collided with Vera. Bowman was eventually run off the right shoulder of I-84 and flipped over, while Vera and Hoekstra went off the left shoulder into the median. Bowman was taken to St. Alphonsus in Boise.

Police say all drivers were wearing their seat-belts. One lane of I-84 was closed for an hour while the accident was being cleared. Again, ISP are still investigating the crash.
