Shoshone, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - One person has been lifeflighted to Boise after a crash along Highway 75 at the turnoff for the West Magic Road in Lincoln County. Authorities say the accident happened around 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday evening. Uriel Lugo-Jaramillo, 21 of Jerome was northbound when the car he was driving drifted across oncoming traffic. The driver lost control and rolled into a canal bed, resting on its top. Lugo-Jaramillo was transported to a Boise hospital where at last check he is in serious condition.

He was not wearing a seatbelt and authorities say alcohol may be a factor in the accident. The investigation continues.
