A Jerome man will be spending the next three years in prison after a passenger in the vehicle he was driving was killed back in 2009.  21 year old Irwin Adams was driving his vehicle at 108 mph in a 50 mph zone when his car crashed and killed his friend and passenger, Allen Larsen, on Oct. 24, 2009.  Fifth District Judge John Butler sentenced Adams to ten years in prison with three years fixed, levied a $5000 fine and says Adam’s driver’s license will be suspended for five years after he’s released from prison.  Adams was convicted by a jury in March of vehicular manslaughter.
