With yet another jail bond election looming in November, Jerome County commissioners are scrambling to put together a plan to present to the public for a new county jail.  After voters failed to approve a jail bond three times previous, the next proposal will be scaled back somewhat from the previous $13-million dollars.  Jerome County officials met yesterday with an architect and general contractor to get an idea of options available to them for a construction method.  With several ideas to consider, commissioners will meet again today to make a decision.  The latest proposed jail plan will cost an estimated $8 to $11-million dollars but commissioners are expected to have a more precise figure before the election in November.
