JEROME, Idaho (KTVB) - The Jerome County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting earlier this month that sent bullets into the side of a house.

Neighbors who live near the house in Jerome County said they heard several gunshots around midnight June 8. Several people told deputies this was not the first time they had heard shots in the area. Deputies say the bullets hit a house at 44 South 350 West. Investigators found four bulletholes on the side of the house facing the road. Another shot went through a window.

The resident of the house refused to provide any information to law enforcement, only acknowledging they knew the house had been shot at. The Jerome County Sheriff's Office has been dispatched to the same location at least twice for reports of shots fired in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office at 324-1911.
