JEROME, Idaho (KMVT)-A 20-year-old Jerome woman is facing charges for vehicular manslaughter after killing a teen in a crash last summer.

Jerome County prosecutors issued a summons for Cynthia Martinez to appear in court. If convicted she could face up to $10,000 in fines and up to 10 years in prison. 19-year-old Alec Humbach of Jerome was killed in the accident.

Police reports indicate Martinez failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Humbach's vehicle. Martinez was already on probation after pleading guilty to an unrelated charge in May. We'll keep you updated on details of her court date.
