(KLIX)- The Kinyon Road Fire is about 75 percent contained as of Tuesday evening. Bureau of Land Management officials say full containment is expected later this morning. Full control could happen by the weekend. So far it has burned roughly 216,000 acres south of Castleford. In an earlier interview Fire Management Officer Chris Simonson says this year is looking a lot like 2007. That’s when a number of fires charred thousands of acres in that area. The Murphy Complex Fire burned roughly 600,000 acres in 2007.
