We've known 'Kung Fu Panda 3' was coming in the near future, but now the film is starting to add to its cast. Alongside series stalwarts Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Seth Rogen, Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Rebel Wilson have joined the cast.

Cranston will be coming off his run of the series 'Breaking Bad,' and a number of supporting turns in big Hollywood movies, including 'Larry Crowne,' 'John Carter,' the 'Total Recall' remake and Best Picture winner 'Argo.' Mikkelsen recently won Cannes' best actor prize for 'The Hunt,' but is more notable stateside for his turn as Le Chifre in 'Casino Royale' and as the titular 'Hannibal' on NBC. Wilson had a star-making turn in the recent 'Pitch Perfect' and is a go-to for supporting comedy.

This news comes from The Hollywood Reporter, and like most Dreamworks casting, it's hard to say if any of this is good. Obviously these aren't A-list celebrities who are hard to vocally distinguish, but Cranston was also in this summer's 'Madagascar 3' and he -- like fellow "hot" co-star Jessica Chastain -- left little impression. Wilson seems like the easiest fit as she's obviously got comic chops, and going by Hollywood thinking, we'd bet that she's going to play Jack Black's Kung Fu Panda's love interest. It is unknown if the rest of the furious five or if Dustin Hoffman's character Shifu will be returning, but the film is scheduled to hit theaters Dec 23, 2015
