BOISE, Idaho (AP) — US Rep. Raul Labrador has secured a victory in Idaho's 1st Congressional District against Democratic challenger Shirley Ringo.

Ringo is a longtime Democratic state representative who has served in the Idaho House since 1999. Idaho's 2nd congressional district includes the northern half of the state and snakes down to the western part of the Treasure Valley, including parts of Boise.
