Lawmakers began to hear testimony about the plan to reform Idaho's education  system yesterday. Superintendent Tom Luna's plan will be discussed in front of the Senate Education Committee over the next several days. Yesterday afternoon, Luna presented the proposal in two bills: one addresses the education workforce, the other, technology in the classroom.  There was no testimony from the public yesterday.  That is expected to begin later today.  Meanwhile, dozens of protestors met outside of the capital building to protest Luna's plan yesterday.  After the hearings wrap up later this week, senate education leaders could take a vote on Luna's plan.
