‘Light up the Night’ with 5K Event in Jerome

JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – If you ever wanted to be a shining example to someone, you’ll have the chance this Saturday, March 12.

That evening you’ll be able to help light up the night – literally – with a 5K run/walk that the Jerome Recreation District will host to celebrate its 10-year anniversary. There’ll even be a 1K activity for young walkers.

Beginning at 7:45 p.m., you’ll light up the night with your neon-colored t-shirt and glow bands. Afterward, you’ll join other participants in a social gathering that includes good conversation and food.

The event – which includes t-shirt, glow stick accessories and snacks with your entry fee – begins and ends at the JRD, 2033 S. Lincoln, Jerome. For more information, call 324-3389.
