Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) More complaints are coming out against a local school bus service. Western States Bus Services recently changed ownership; Landmark Student Transportation bought the company, but kept the name. But even with the change in ownership, parents in the area are still seeing some major problems. According to an email from one of those parents, busses are continuously running late, the wrong busses are making pick–ups or not making pick–ups at all. David Lear is the President and CEO of Western States Bus Services, he says they're aware of these issues and are working to correct them.

"We take student transportation… I mean it’s the business were in, and we take it very serious. We’ve actually been working with the local communities to help ease the initial registration process. If the registration process doesn’t happen soon enough or early enough you’re left with opportunities for failures," said David Lear, President and CEO of Western States Bus Services.

Lear says that with the economy on the up–swing transportation companies are finding it difficult to supply drivers for routes. That's why Western States is looking to fill more positions next year. If you are interested in being a driver contact the local Western States branch in your area.
