Many of us woke up to snow this morning. The National Weather Service says to expect more before this storm is finished. From the National Weather Service:

A MAJOR WINTER STORM WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW AND MODERATE RAIN TO SOUTHEAST OREGON AND SOUTHWEST IDAHO. AS OF 3 AM SNOW SPREAD INTO THE WEST CENTRAL AND BOISE MOUNTAINS FROM HARNEY AND BAKER COUNTIES. AT ONTARIO FREEZING RAIN AT MIDNIGHT CHANGED TO RAIN. TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOVE FREEZING BELOW 3500-4500 FEET ACROSS THE REGION FROM LATE MORNING OR EARLY AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING. A COLD FRONT WILL SLAM THROUGH THE AREA TONIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY. EXPECT BLIZZARD CONDITIONS TONIGHT ACROSS THE CAMAS PRAIRIE AND IN THE NORTHWEST MAGIC VALLEY INCLUDING NEAR JEROME. THE FRONT WILL COMBINE WITH COOLING FOR A BURST OF SNOW ACROSS THE TREASURE VALLEY EARLY WEDNESDAY. BEFORE THAT THE WARMING WILL BRING MODERATE RAIN
