UPDATE: TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Twin Falls police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon after barricading himself in a shed, forcing some schools to go on lockdown.

According to Twin Falls Police, Justin Burns, 27,  was taken into custody at 2:15 p.m. at 568 Madrona St. on several warrants. Burns had made threats that he had a gun while he barricaded himself in the shed. Police advised the Twin Falls School district of what was going on because it was near Morningside Elementary, O'Leary Middle School and Bridge Academy.

Police were also concerned students would walk through the area once school was let out. Police say the district did place the schools on lockdown. A school resource officer was sent to Morningside. Burns was wanted on three misdemeanor warrants.
