SUN VALLEY, Idaho (AP) — A South Dakota man has been arrested in central Idaho after failing to return a rental car. The Idaho Mountain Express reports 58-year-old Bradley Thomas Wrigley was arrested on Oct. 21 in Sun Valley.

Police Chief Walt Femling said Wrigley had been in the area for more than a month, "misrepresented himself as a person of wealth" and was living in a condominium he said he planned to purchase. The real estate company became suspicious after running a background check.

Wrigley is charged with possession of a stolen car that was rented in Federal Way, Wash. His bail was set at $150,000 and his preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 5. South Dakota prison records show Wrigley served time for forgery, grand theft and bad check convictions in the Sioux Falls area.
