TWIN FALLS, Idaho – A woman has been arrested and charges are pending after police found an adult male who had been stabbed in the chest on Monday evening in the 2100 block of Elizabeth Boulevard.

Officers were dispatched to the residence about 7:30 p.m. Monday, and found Jenna Winfrey outside, telling officers that her boyfriend was inside with a stab wound.

Officers located the adult male inside the residence with a knife wound to his left upper chest, according to the Twin Falls Police Department. Paramedics arrived on scene and took the victim to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center for treatment.

After review of evidence and statements, according to police, Winfrey was arrested and charges are pending. Twin Falls Police Department detectives and crime lab technicians were called to assist. The investigation is ongoing.
