The past few weeks have doubled our excitement for Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' with the promise of several major Marvel figures to come, but apart from one we've known all along, the first will in fact arrive with February's premiere episode, "T.R.A.C.K.S."! The first photos from the landmark installment have arrived, but do the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' have Deathlok in their sights?

You won't catch the crispy Mike Peterson or any of his fancy new Dethlok tech implants in the first set of photos from "T.R.A.C.K.S.," though we know from Marvel brass that he'll make his first "origin" appearance within the episodes, having briefly been glimpsed in the stinger of 2014 premiere "The Magical Place." Meanwhile, it looks like Coulson and the others go undercover on a train (hey, like the title!), searching for the ever-mysterious "Clairvoyant."

Here's what ABC had to say of February 4 installment "T.R.A.C.K.S.":

"T.R.A.C.K.S.:" - Hot on the trail of the Clairvoyant, Coulson and his team board a mystery train that seems to be headed for certain death, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Tuesday, February 4 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are David Conrad as Ian Quinn, Carlo Rota as Luca Russo, T.J. Ramini as Mancini, Ludwig Manukian as the Conductor, Emily Baldoni as Sofia, and a special cameo appearance by Stan Lee.

Meanwhile, Marvel offered up a new bit of insight into how Mike Peterson will end up as the undead comic cyborg Deathlok:

Transformed into the cybernetic solider against his will, Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) must struggle to find the man in the machine. With a high-tech eye that allows him to see through walls, super strength and increased speed courtesy of a cybernetic leg, will Deathlok fight alongside the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or against them?

"We have been waiting all season for this moment where we can reveal that Mike Peterson's story arc is an origin story," said Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell. "We're thrilled to have J. August Richards playing Deathlok and to have our audience enjoy this favorite Marvel character on the show."

We'll also have Jaimie Alexander's Lady Sif and the villainous Lorelei in the weeks to come, but in the meantime, check out the first set of photos from 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.''s "T.R.A.C.K.S." below, and tell us what you want to see from ABC's Marvel-ous drama in the comments!
