Minidoka Sheriff Investigating Possible Homicide in Acequea

Acequea, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - An active investigation of a possible homicide is underway in the area of Acequea. According to Minidoka County sheriff Eric Snarr, they issued a search warrant Wednesday May 14 at which point they began their investigation at the site. According to court records, the search warrant was issued for 409 North Highway 24 where officials are looking for human remains, clothing or other evidence that may constitute a Homicide. Sheriff Snarr said he is not prepared to discuss anything at this time as it continues to be an active investigation. He hopes to have more information available next week. Acequia is about 5 miles northeast of Rupert on State Highway 24.
