The biggest piece of a plan to overhaul Idaho's public education system likely faces more changes.  Senate Education Committee Chairman John Goedde says there's a strong possibility the biggest of the three bills will be pulled back to his committee, where public schools chief Tom Luna's sweeping overhaul passed last week amid strong opposition from the state teachers union and other groups. Goedde told the Spokesman-Review he met with education groups Monday and came away with a list of possible changes to the legislation, which would boost technology in the classroom and require online courses while increasing class sizes and cutting about 770 teaching jobs. Luna has already eased the online course requirements and made other changes. Republicans in the Idaho Senate plan to caucus on the education reforms Tuesday.
