Motorcycle Crash Sparks Fire

(KLIX)- A motorcycle crash sparked a wild fire near Hagerman on Sunday. According to Idaho State Police Teddie Morton of Kimberly was heading eastbound on U-S 30. She attempted to pass another vehicle that had stopped to make a left turn. Police say Morton lost control of the motorcycle. Morton was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. A helmet was not worn. Local and BLM Fire crews were able to extinguish the small brush fire. Another small brush fire started a mile away thirty minutes after. Crews were also able to put it out quickly.
