The Washington Post reported today that a group of Muslims protected Christians from extremists during a bus attack in Kenya.

After shots were fired, the bus came to a stop outside El Wak, a northeastern Kenyan city.

Somali militants raided the bus, armed, and then gunmen began yelling demands at the passengers.

They ordered them off the bus and separate into two groups. Group one: Muslims. Group two: everyone else.

But several Muslims refused to separate.

Two people died, and at least three were injured.

Interior Minister Joseph Nkaissery said, "These Muslims sent a very important message of the unity of purpose, that we are all Kenyans, and that we are not separated by religion."
