NAMPA, Idaho (KTVB) - The city of Nampa announced Tuesday that Police Chief Craig Kingsbury has resigned and will take over as the police chief of Twin Falls. A news release said Nampa Mayor Bob Henry received a letter of resignation from Kingsbury. The resignation is effective December 17. According to the release, Kingsbury accepted an offer of employment from Twin Falls effective January 1, when he'll become their police chief. Twin Falls announced on November 4 that Kingsbury was a finalist for the position. However, the city has not announced Kingsbury has accepted the position.
