Nampa Woman Injured in Crash with Police Car

NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police say a Nampa police officer responding to an emergency call collided with another vehicle that entered an intersection.

Authorities say a 39-year-old Nampa woman driving a 2007 Lexus 250 was transported to St. Alphonsus Health Plaza following the collision at about 5:30 p.m. Monday in Nampa.

Police say a 31-year-old male passenger wasn't injured.

Idaho State Police say the Nampa officer wasn't transported to a hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
