“We’ve seen a lot of economic prosperity in Twin Falls for many years,” Mayor Shawn Barigar was quoted in a news release about the event. “As we see new people and businesses coming into town, My Place will have many opportunities to serve the growing needs of the community.”

The three-story extended-stay hotel, owned by MPI Investment Group and operated by Venerts Hotel Management, is expected to open by fall.

The companies say the site for the new hotel was chosen for its proximity to the area’s retail, dining and recreational opportunities.
