BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho Fish and Game Commission has adopted a three-year fishing seasons and rules brochure covering Idaho fishing rules from 2013 through 2015. The rules brochure adopted Thursday sets Free Fishing Day statewide for each of those years, and also includes a number of regional changes. Anglers in northern Idaho for the first time since 1999 will be allowed to harvest kokanee in Lake Pend Oreille due to the success of a fish recovery plan. The limit will be six kokanee per day in 2013. Also for Lake Pend Oreille, a size and bag limit will be reinstated for rainbow trout. Anglers will be allowed six rainbow trout, and only one more than 20 inches long. Elsewhere, the length limit is removed on smallmouth bass in Magic Reservoir.
