MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — The Moscow Police Department is not filing any charges against a group of University of Idaho football players who took about $400 worth of clothing from the campus store after football coach Paul Petrino returned the items.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports that a VandalStore manager contacted police Aug. 16 after he spotted three men on security footage taking clothing during a time when the store was only open to the football team. After police watched the video, officials contacted Petrino to identify the suspects.

Petrino then returned the stolen clothing. Police asked the store manager who the coaches had identified, and he said he did not remember. The UI Dean of Students Office declined to comment on the incident Wednesday morning.
