Note Causes Concern for Wendell Schools
Wendell, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Students and staff are on high alert at Wendell High School. Early this week a suspicious note was found in a student restroom. Grace Silva is a concerned parent, her son attends Wendell High School, and when she found out a suspicious note was discovered on campus...she pulled her son out of school.
School district superintendent Greg Lowe says, a note was found that caused concern. The district immediately called law enforcement. Parents received a letter from the district. It states the district is doing everything, they can to keep the students safe, and that they are conducting crisis prevention protocols.
The Wendell Police Department and Gooding County Sheriff's Office is assisting with increased security. The Wendell Police Department tells us they are currently investigating the note.
