POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Eastern Idaho authorities say the male pilot and his female passenger escaped injury when their small plane crashed while landing at the Pocatello Regional Airport.

Authorities tell the Idaho State Journal that the Cessna flipped onto its side while Landing at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Officials say the aircraft had contact with the control tower and was cleared to land when something went wrong.

The names of the pilot and passenger haven't been released. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
