TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A Twin Falls woman died Monday when a driver of a pickup didn't stop at an intersection. According to Idaho State Police Evette Phillips, 51, died at the crash site that happened just before 10 p.m. just north of Hansen near the Hansen Bridge.

Police say Phillips was a passenger in a Ford pickup truck that failed to stop at a stop sign on 3800 East and Highway 50. Jody Neaderhiser, 51, of Eden, was driving the Ford headed north when it went through the intersection and was hit by a Dodge pickup truck driven by Trevor Dowd, 44, of Twin Falls.

Neaderhiser, Dowd, and an adult passenger in Dowd's vehicle, were all transported by ground ambulance to Saint Luke's Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls. Everyone had been wearing seatbelts.

The westbound lanes of State Highway 50 were blocked and traffic was diverted around the scene for approximately 4 hours. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
