(KLIX) A female passenger was taken to a Boise hospital with serious injuries after Mondays boat accident. Twin Falls County Sheriff's officer spokesperson says speed may have been a factor in the crash that happened east of Shoshone Falls. The office says the boat hit the bank going about 40 to 45 miles per hour. Another male occupant was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was later released. There were 6 people on the boat all in their early 20's. One person was able to make it to shore and climb up the side of the canyon and call for help. The crash is still under investigation.
