BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Minnesota man who lost his dog more than a year ago during a brief stop in Boise has been reunited with the pooch. Tremayne Pickering and his chocolate lab Warren got back together again Thursday in Kuna.

Pickering told the Idaho Statesman  he spent weeks looking for his dog after the pup went missing during a visit to a downtown Boise park last year. Nobody is certain where Warrant has spent most of the last 12 months.

But he was picked earlier this summer by an animal control officer near Albion, spent time in Burley and Jerome before being adopted by a family in Kuna. During a recent visit to the veterinarian, microchip information revealed Pickering as the owner. Pickering drove to Boise this week reunite with Warren.
