Reporters out in the field always need to be prepared for the unexpected. As for this WAFF reporter, nothing could have prepared her for what happened on air.

It's a fairly short video, but it's one that should elicit a good amount of laughs. Reporter Marie Waxel was reporting on campus at the University of North Alabama. The story was about how there were lions named Leo and Una being kept as mascots on campus. As she was talking to the camera, one of the lions in the pen behind her jumped up and gave her a bit of a scare.

It turns out that Una wanted to give her a friendly greeting and pounced up onto the fence, sending Waxel flinching away and laughing as she saw the large cat out of her peripheral vision. Thankfully, it looks like no one was hurt, except for maybe our sides -- you know, from laughing so much.
