Twin Falls, Idaho (KLIX) A helicopter pilot walked away from a crash at the Twin Falls airport this weekend. According to the city a small helicopter went down Sunday morning half a mile south of the Magic Valley Regional Airport. The pilot was the only one in the aircraft. The helicopter was severely damaged. It was operated by Canyon Construction out of Elko Nevada. The helicopter was headed to the airport when the pilot told the tower of mechanical concerns. The helicopter crashed in farm field. There was no fuel leak or fire. Federal Aviation officials interview the pilot today as part of the investigation.
