BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho law enforcement say they've arrest a 15-year-old girl suspected of stealing pickup truck after she led officers on a high-speed chase.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says a deputy encountered the teen Tuesday when the deputy attempted to pull her over for speeding in Boise. KTVB-TV reports that instead of stopping, the teen continued to drive and reached speeds over 100 mph.

Officials say the pursuit ended when the truck drove over spike strips placed on the road by a deputy. Deputies say they found four other girls between 9- to 15-years-old in the truck. All five girls were taken into police custody. According to the report, the driver will be charged with felony counts of eluding arrest and grand theft. Her name was not released.
