Twin Falls Police are requesting the public's help with information relating to the robbery of Family Dollar on Addison in Twin that occurred late Monday night.

(tfid.org) At 11:23 p.m. Twin Falls City Police Officers were dispatched to a robbery at the parking lot of the Family Dollar store located at 1746 Addison Ave. East.

A white male wearing a hoodie and blue jeans approached a store employee while she was sitting in her vehicle after closing the store. The suspect opened the car door and held his hand in his pants as if he had a firearm. The suspect then stole a purse from the employee and fled on foot southbound into the field behind the Family Dollar.

A perimeter was set up and a police service dog was deployed in an attempt to track the suspect. Police were unable to locate the suspect and the investigation is still in progress.
